How can ShopBuddies give Cashback?

It may sound too good to be true, but at ShopBuddies there is no catch. The system is simple and completely free. When you go to one of our affiliated webshops via our Cashback platform and place your order there, we receive a commission. We pay this commission to you, which means you save money on all your online purchases.

How much Cashback can I receive?

The amount of Cashback you receive depends on the total amount of your order and the current Cashback percentage of the webshop. In most cases, you will receive a percentage of the purchase amount back into your account. With some partners, you will receive a fixed amount in euros. For promotions, such as concluding contracts for insurance, telephone, internet and energy, you can quickly earn hundreds of euros.

How is Cashback calculated?

The Cashback we give you is based on the commission we receive from the webshop. Some webshops use different Cashback compensations per product category. If this is the case, you can find that information on the webshop page on ShopBuddies. Please note that Cashback is calculated on the purchase amount excluding VAT and other additional costs, such as shipping costs, the use of gift cards, reservation and administration costs.

When will I receive the Cashback?

If you have made a purchase via ShopBuddies, you will see this purchase appear in your account within 48 hours with the status 'In progress'. The advertiser will now approve your purchase. In most cases, this will happen within 2 months. As soon as your purchase has been approved, the status will automatically change to 'Approved' in your account. For financial products, such as telecom, energy and insurance, the approval period may be slightly longer, because web shops wait for the first few monthly debits. It may also happen that your purchase is rejected by the web shop, for example if you have returned (part of) the products, the order has been cancelled, the additional conditions of the web shop have not been met or if a 'clean' browser was not used during the ordering process or other websites were visited. When you click through to the webshop via ShopBuddies on the green button, a cookie is placed in your browser. This cookie contains information for the webshop and can thus identify Shopbuddies as a partner of the webshop.

The webshop recognizes through the cookie that you came to the webshop via ShopBuddies and therefore sees our platform as an intermediary. You shop and pay as usual in the webshop. Your order is automatically communicated to us, so that you do not have to send an invoice at the end of your purchase to benefit from the Cashback.

Payout of your Cashback

When the return period has expired and the product has been paid, the commission will be paid to us. If you have ever shopped via ShopBuddies, you will have noticed that the payment from the webshop is often only made 60 days after the transaction is approved. In the past, you could only have the Cashback paid out at that time. ShopBuddies has recently made an important change to the conditions: you can now request a payout immediately if your purchase has been approved by the webshop and no longer have to wait until ShopBuddies has received the payment! ShopBuddies advances this amount.
